Let me start off by saying I don’t think it is smart idea to move into the real world house while being in a serious relationship. With that said I found myself in this very predicament when I was picked for the real world. Once I found out I was going to be in the house, I immediately sat my girlfriend down and we had a serious talk about what we thought would be the best steps for our relationship.


I am an honest boyfriend and I know Cancun is a place known for spring breakers going absolutely crazy with partying and sex, so I was honest with my girlfriend about how I felt about my situation. I felt at that time that I needed to go into this situation without being in such a serious relationship, so we decided to calm things down a little. My girlfriend and I made a pack to be completely honest with each other throughout this process, and to let each other know if anything (hooking up) was to happen with any one else.


I am glad that I was able to stay completely honest with my girlfriend up to the point of us breaking up on the show, even though the reason we stopped talking was only because I innocently slept in Emilee's bed.  The reason I slept in Emilee's bed that night is at that point Emilee was the girl in the house that I felt the most comfortable with, and Joey was getting some and I didn't want to interrupt. LOL. Emilee has actually dated a few of my friends in the past and we also have a lot of other mutual friends as well, so I thought we were comfortable enough to snuggle and keep it innocent.


After my girlfriend and I broke up I realized why it is such a great idea to be single if you are picked for the real world LOL. You can be more open with your roommates, and you don't have to keep your guard up all the time.
