The entire staff has been humming or singing in their heads the song Summertime that Brianna has been recording the past week.  It was written by Matt, who currently plays guitar and tours with Eve6 in addition to starting The Sequel, and produced by Tomas, a producer that Kimberly knew back in South Carolina. 

Matt and Tomas really took to Brianna’s voice, and agreed that she had the right qualities for Summertime. Brianna has been given a number of choices via Charna’s connections to sing other demos and new songs – but Brianna just wasn’t moved enough by those songs to pursue it.  Brianna met Matt at the Donate Life benefit concert at the Hard Rock, where he was performing with Eve 6.  He heard Brianna sing with Alex Band, and that was enough to convince him that Summertime was the song for Brianna.
