They each propose who the new roommate (like a butch ****, a militant gay, etc), then Emilee says what if they got a white supremacist roommate that didn't like black people. How the fuck do you know Ayiia is mixed race? Do you know her family or something? No, I didn't think so. Being tan or darker skinned doesn't make you part black, and they've been in Cancun for months in the sun. Last time I checked, being in the sun for long periods of time gives you tan. Jasmine overreacted, just because its 2009 doesn't mean people are going to stop being prejudiced about anything, not just race or color. It's never going to go away, that's how people are as a whole. There will always be something considered the minority or outcast, you can fight it but people will just move on to the next thing. You can either speak up for yourself or ignore it. And just because Ayiiia is hispanic which I also am doesn't mean she never has to encounter racism, maybe not so much in Mexico because that's her nationality, but when she goes to the US or wherever, she does. And I love how people can't say shit to black people, but because you're black gives you the right to "you white (insert derogatory, offensive word here i.e. bitch, hoe. skank, etc.)", even if they aren't white just because they don't think it's as big a deal as you.
