why did he even come on the Real World then? Has he been watching the Real World that past 7 years? All people do on these shows is get f***ed up. If he was a recovering alcoholic and drug addict then that's the stupidest thing he could do is go on Real World. And in Hollywood? Please.

I know it's probally alot of editing done on this show but I promise I'm tired of hearing him talk about this bull..go home already. You had to know LA would be challenging look at all the famous people who end up in rehab all the time. I think he's using his problem for more air time. If he was really ashamed who wouldn't want to talk about it as much.

Good for you Joey. Not for nothing dude, you have probably been the most honest, open and all around good guy on this show. It seems very genuine and you really look like a guy that wants to get above all the drama. Keep your head up dude and just do you! Your going to end up alright! Peace!

Joey's a little self-righteous, isn't he? He's definitely over-compensating.

Um...maybe this is just me, but the constant reprise "I've never craved drugs/alcohol more than I do right now" doesn't really ring true to me.

Great. If that's what he thinks he needs to do, then let him do so. Although these roommates care about him, they are not willing to sacrifice their Hollywood experience for anybody. I don't think I would either. He knew coming on the show that in every single Real World episode from the day this show started 20 SHOWS AGO, there is alcohol in everybody's hand. Half the drama scenes and the show is made and originated from people who drink (sometimes way too much), but it is what it is.

It would have been great if he had gone to meetings and stayed clean while remaining in the house. He could have set an example to millions of viewers. Of course, he's not responsible to anyone but himself to stay Clean! Good Luck,Joey!!
