Longer arms, better leverage. Joey used bad technique, thats the only reason he lost.
I'm a decently built guy, and pretty pro at arm wrestling and I know exactly how Joey lost to this guy. First of all, Joey was sitting. The other guy was standing. From a standing position it's easier to acquire and maintain leverage, to use your weight, and your center of gravity, to your advantage. 2nd, the other guy had longer arms, longer arms= better leverage. That means you really have to pay attention to your own technique to offset it, which Joey didn't do. 3rd, goes back to leverage and technique. The taller guy was using his shoulder as a pivot point, and pushing the way he should, whereas Joey is planting his butt in the seat and focusing on ONE muscle, his bicep in an attempt to CURL his opponent into submission... Not gonna work when your opponent is putting all of their weight into it, and playing smart. Joey did everything he needed to do to lose. Ya need a healthy dose of brains to balance the brawn, or it's all for nothing, just window dressing. Makes me wonder what kind of a fighter Joey must be.
