Things like this can seem sad but it's actually one of the best day's of a person's life when they can have the guts to do this for themselves. I honestly wish something worse would have happened to me in the last few years because I've been drinking out of control. If I would have gotten a DUI or something, I'd be mad, but I would have been FORCED to quit. A blessing in disguise. Alcohol causes more problems than illegal drugs even. I hate it and I plan to get sober again so I can have my own life back.

and what really bothered me was that he had to ask everyone except for Dave for a hug? Dave just went up in my book. and i thought that maybe Bri wouldve cried because she seems to be the one that cared about Joey but nope. Dave looked like he was close to tears at the end there. Kim and Sarah didn't even seem to care! like he was wasting their time or something. honestly the only people i really like in the hosue are Joey, Dave, and Bri. Joey really is a sweet guy, he was just in the wrong place. again, hope your doing good Joey, and i hope we can see you again!

Hey I'm just glad the abuse didn't go on for a life-time like most!! Much luv Joey I wen't through that hell for 6yrs and still have to look at family and friends who are still there.

OMG!!! I was soo touched by Joey's letter. I cried my friggin' eyes out. I really hope that he is successful in sobriety. Hollywood was definately the wrong place for him to be while trying to be sober. Best of luck Joe!! You can so do this!!

This was really touching. You could tell he really wanted to turn his life around, and I, as long as a lot of people I'm sure, am very proud of him. Kimberly seemed very insensitive, and that was really lame.

It takes a person who is really ready to change their lives and even a stronger person to take initiative do the best for them when others might do otherwise. I still HATE Kimberly though- she seems so fake- like 'when is he gonna be done so I can finally wash my face'. Her attitude just seems so off putting! Uhh!!!

Also, PLEASE learn to speak correctly!! It's not "Sara and I's friendship", it's Sarah's and MY friendship"!!! It's okay to say MY. And it's okay to say ME. You don't sound more educated when you replace them with I!
