I don't think Chet really knows for sure if he's gay or straight. He's never had a sexual experience and is naturally curious about sex period(gay or straight). He probably claims to be straight now to avoid any ridicule until he can figure things out. Right,wrong or indifferent...judging by his choice in clothing one might assume that he would feel more comfortable living in an alternative lifestyle. I would bet that one day he will experiment with another male or totally come out. Nothing wrong with it but, he is way too curious for a "straight" male.
